Child Passenger Safety Week, September 13-19
It’s Child Passenger Safety Week from September 13-19, 2015 and Snyder Insurance and Financial is urging all of our policyholders, as well as their friends and family, to take a few minutes to see that their children’s safety seats are installed properly.
Did you know that, when used correctly, a child safety seat can reduce fatalities by as much as 71% for an infant?
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), one child under the age of 13 was involved in a crash every 33 seconds in 2013. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for children between the ages of 1-13 in the United States, and many of those deaths might have been prevented by the proper use of car seats, boosters, and seat belts.
Is Your Child Passenger Safety Seat the Right One and Properly Installed?
Unsure if your child’s seat is correct or installed properly? National Seat Check Saturday is September 19, 2015. Find a car seat inspection station in your area.
